Everscena Support

Help and frequently asked questions for Everscena.

Everscena is a local-first, privacy-first personal memory gallery app. It helps you organize photos, write stories and diaries, and revisit your memories — all on your own device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is my data stored?

All core data — your diaries, photo indexes, tags, places, and smart analysis results — is stored locally on your device. Everscena does not upload your original photos, diary text, or location data by default, and it has no account system.

Why does Everscena need photo library access?

Photo access is used to display, select, and organize your photos, link them to stories, and build local memory experiences. The app does not copy your original photos into its private storage and does not upload them to any server.

Is location permission required?

No, it is optional. Location can auto-fill diary places and support place filters. You can decline or revoke the permission at any time in system settings, and the app keeps working normally.

How do I delete my data?

You can clear selected local data in the app settings. Uninstalling the app removes its local database and cache. Original photos in your system photo library are never deleted by Everscena.

Will my data sync across devices?

The current version is fully local and does not sync between devices. If cloud backup or sync is added in the future, it will be optional and clearly explained before anything leaves your device.

How does voice-to-text work?

Voice-to-text uses the speech recognition capability provided by your operating system (iOS or Android). Everscena does not store voice recordings on its own servers.
